The first hair care tip is washing your hair. Make sure the shampoo and conditioner is designed specifically for your hair. A person may think they are saving money because they are buying the cheapest shampoo. These can be more damaging to your hair. If there is dandruff in the hair, then use dandruff shampoo. The same goes if a person has a perm or color treated hair.

The next hair care tip is to keep your hair healthy. Once a week use a shampoo that is called clarifying. This removes all the heavy weight you feel on your hair. Start with about a nickel of shampoo wash the hair, then rinse. Now, wash again but let it get sudsy and sit for a few minutes to soak into your scalp. Now, rinse. If your hair was not sudsy enough, then wash it again until it is sudsy and feels lighter again.

Tip three on a top hair care tip is to use only a comb when the hair is wet and use a detanglizer to prevent breakage.  Do not use a brush or a curling or flat iron on the hair even if it is slightly damp. The fourth hair care tip relates to number two, keeping hair healthy. This can be by using a hair mask for your hair or deep conditioning once a month or once a week. With all the heat that is used on the hair, it is lacking moisture. The hair becomes brittle and breaks.
